  • Comparison of Fusion to Camry Hybrid - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

I recently totaled my 2009 Camry Hybrid and I replaced it with the Fusion Hybrid. While i think the camry may have more comfortable seating the fusion blows it away on options. The navigation system is far superior and the BLISD and sync functions are great. This car has a more sporty feel than the camry.

  • The best American Car on the Road - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

Yes, I know its made in Mexico, but this is a home run for Ford. I get 600 miles a tank in town. I live in a part of the country that can be flat for the most part and this definitely helps MPG as I can coast quite a bit. This thing flat out rolls! It has no engine braking down hills so it can take off like a soap box derby racer. The SYNC system works flawlessly with my iPhone. Sound quality is great from the Sony speakers. I cant complain about anything so far other than a little bit of yearning for a better seat. Very satisfied with the purchase.

  • Excellent car - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

I thought that Id never buy another American car, as the build quality has been lacking. I wanted to take advantage of the clunkers program, but waited until the last weekend to make up my mind. I was pretty sure that wed like the Prius as several friends love theirs. When we arrived at two Toyota dealers the lots were cleaned out and no Priuses anywhere in 100 miles. No Civic hybrids either. Id read great reviews on the Fusion so decided to check it out. I was immediately impressed. This is a GREAT car. Terrific build quality, very solid and stable. Average 38.5 mpg even with a 10 mi. climb to our home. A 49.9 mi. trip on cruise at 72 mph gave 48.9 mpg. Were happy that we bought it.

  • Not up to 700 mi per tank - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
    By -

I like the ride of the car, its very comfortable. Im 63 and have plenty of room. I think the commercial touting "up to 700" per tank is hype. Ive never approached that, and I drive like a grandpa according to my friends. My city driving usually averages in the 38mpg for a high. In very cold weather it went down significantly.

  • My First American Car in 12 years. - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

For years I have said that if the US Big 3 could just make a world class hybrid, I would buy it. Based on Edmunds and some other sources, I pre- ordered this before they were released. For me that was a big gamble. I think it paid off well. The car is well built, engaging and fun to drive. Despite the battery packs, there is enough trunk room for my wife, 17 year old son and I to have taken a trip to Disney World and felt like we had plenty of room even with our baggage. Im using the electronic dash to help teach my boy not to lead-foot the gas pedal, which is a totally unexpected side benefit..

  • Awesome Car!! - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

Ford engineers did a fantastic job designing the Fusion Hybrid. As noted in the other reviews that Ive read, the car exceeds expectations on ride, comfort, and performance. It is truly fun to drive, and unlike most hybrids, looks and feels like a regular car. Combine that with the impressive technology and comprehensive safety features and you have a real winner. I am getting about 37 mpg in mostly highway driving, but am beginning to see improvement as I learn to drive more efficiently. There are some strong arguments on whether the added cost of a hybrid is worth it or not. Ultimately that is a personal decision, but if you are looking at a hybrid, the Fusion will not disappoint!

  • 23 months and 67,000 miles - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
    By -

Onwed my 2010 FFH for 23 months now just over 67,000 miles. I drive 135 miles per day combination city and highway. Mileage is 41 -44 summer (over 70 degrees) winter never worse than 35. 2 minor issues that dealer took care of rear brake squeek at 20,000 and fan blower motor replacement at 30,000. Owned a 2008 Honda civic hybrid before this, no comparision to the refinement, seemless gas/electric operation and driving comfort of the Fusion hybrid. Would buy another in a minute.

  • Im in Love - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

I took delivery on my Fusion Hybrid Thursday and set out on a road trip on Saturday. I love everything about this car. You wont experience BMW type fun, but if you want a comfortable, poised and compliant ride with amazing gas mileage this is the car for you! I got 37.0 MPG on my first tank (105 miles city, 440 miles Interstate). I got 33.0 MPG on my all Interstate return trip. And I understand that I can expect better in warm weather. (I travelled on Feb. 9 - 10.) The interior is extremely comfortable and SYNC is cool beyond belief. Im so glad I didnt go for the Chevy just because of On-Star! SYNC out-performs On-Star. Everyone who saw admired the styling.

My first car bought in six years. Put a lot of research into it. Love this car. Black on black, tinted windows -- I get so many compliments on the exterior as well as the comfortable ride. Gas mileage is excellent. I do mostly in town driving so I average in the 30s; highway close to 40. First hybrid I have owned. I love it!!

Got the metallic green with tan interior which has received lots of compliments. Just went over 1K miles and had one issue with an engine light that came on to which there was no trouble found and it hasnt returned over the last 500 miles. Took a ride with an SEL V6 first and it had nice zip. Took out the hybrid right afterward though and it rode so much smoother. I had a V6 Honda 6 speed coupe prior to this car and dont miss it at all. Sync is flawless and the whole NAV display is way sharper. Am getting between 35-36 mpg with a fairly hilly terrain and maybe 60/40 highway/city driving. Would recommend this car to anyone. Its a real winner.
